No. What happens this way is. You unlock the car the lights come on (If set to auto) you drive and when you switch off the lights remain on for a set amount of time. Mine is the B6 Highline with the white dash so once set up on Vcds I was then able to set times also on the mfd I've set them to 90 se...

Changed from a normal switch to a switch with Auto on it so I could active the auto lights on Vcds.

Well since changing the battery I think it may have reset that TCS/ESP fault I use to get every now and again for a brief second. Looks like the battery dying has reset it. Good to know some faults that are not thrown up on Vcds may be worthwhile disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds.

Good thing to buy for any of you changing a car battery in the future. Saves any dash lights or ECU resets.

Two days or 48 hours constant charging and still the magic eye is the same as the pic. I'll give it another 24 hours and if no change I'll connect a radio to it and stick it in the shed!

You will need to code via Vcds yes and also set it up to work on the mfd as well via Vcds. Mine was done this was and is the best thing I did to the car.

Bluetooth & dab if already fitted to the car should should be a straight plug & play option.

Straight swap over. Just put the gps antenna above the radio into the slot below the two middle air vents. Nice little slot here where it fits snug.

It's a sealed unit and is full. Chargers been on 14 hours now and the charging yellow light is flashing. That indicator is on the top and I'm assuming it's the charge indicator.

Someone help me out here. I kept the old battery as I thought if I charge it back up and stick it in the shed. If I ever need a jump start I can do it myself. Anyway. What does this light mean? It always was safe. Original reason for thread was a bit of advice on changing the battery over but as per it goes right off topic and only 1 answer to the original question. But that's this forum for you lol.

Off Papa. He had it in his garage lol. So nowt! Pants stayed firmly up on this one & £80 for a car battery isn't really getting bummed is it.
