Also i had my keyfob sent off to get looked @ as the remote central locking doesnt work @ the moment. I thought the tinting film was meant to be on the inside of the window not...

My B5 has recently had it service, but not from a VW specialist. Therefore the inspection lights are still on. I know on my VR6 they could be removed without VAGCOM, so i was wondering if anybody could tell how to do it on my Passat?

I did find that @ times, so relaxin compared to the VR, my speed was slowing creeping up!

As for the c/l, i found out today that if i unlock the car and keep the key turned it puts down all the windows, and vice versa when locking it. I thought it was really clever considering its standard!

I wouldnt say he was a VW enthusiast. Just liked the idea of having a big powerful car with 'blingin' things- why he chose those wheels i dont know! :lol: Going to remove the mud flaps when i get the chance too. I did realise when i was removing the rear tint, that i have a rear blind too! :mrgreen:

I tried to use cruise control yesterday in mine, what a waste of time IMO. As soon as i set it someone would cut me up or come belting up behind me.

Its a nice toy but has very little benefit.

The weather was naff when i got back @ 5.30, so i will wait until i get a chance to give it a clean and polish - AND remove the massoooove wheels.

No mate, the car doesnt do the wheels justice IMO as its like a VW TOUREG @ the moment!
