Re: EPB replace calipers once only?
Cheers - I hope so too, as besides the injectors being replaced (under recall thankfully), the passenger door not always wanting to open, the very poor design of the boot struts letting water into the wheel arch space now this I've almost had enough. To put VW reliability into context I part ex'd a...

Re: Anyone know about 'The Law'
My insurance company are sorting it out. The point I was trying to make was that you can seemingly commit a crime in a private carpark and get away with it. I had a response from the Devon and Cornwall police saying that if I decided to smash someones car up with a baseball bat it would be criminal ...

Anyone know about 'The Law'
Last week someone drove into my car whilst I was at work then they drove off. Luckily for me there was a witness who took lots of valuable information. Now, like any accident this is not against the law, but the fact the person drove off is. (So I believe). Due to the fact I didn't know who the driv...

Yeah, not happy. Its just a car at the end of the day and damage will be fixed but its the principle that the person drove off afterwards.

Update...someone else has crashed into the Beesix. Had a witness this time but its going to be far from straight forward.
Damage is minimal again, but damage is damage!

Re: Drivers Door not able to open from outside
3/4 of my doors have done this. 2 of them they came unclipped from the handle at the other needed a bit of a fiddle inside. Door card off, window out, inner metal skin out...luckily I know someone who is very good at these things and did mine for me in his garage. Not something I wanted to try out o...

Do the 2 seat rear benches have an ISOFIX point? I would like to swap my leather 3 seat rear bench for a CC 2 seater rear bench but I need to be able to use the childs seat via ISOFIX.

Re: Engine management light on!!!!
Mine came on the other day when travelling at 70mph using cruise control. Pulled over, turned the car off, turned it back on and all has been well since. However I did have an immediate fault with the cruise control which has also fixed itself after another switch on/switch off. I can only assume it...

Re: 2.8 syncro exhaust
The exhaust on that car was very subtle with sound it made. On motorway drives you could rarely hear the noise but when you put your foot down it gave a nice rumble/roar. Due to not having massive back boxes the sound from the rear end was minimal. The car also had a Piperx panel filter which didn't...

Should fit its a 1998 S plate Syncro.
Its a CAT back stainless system made by Powerflow. Cost me £400 about 4 years ago. Has hidden rear tailpipes.
Will look like this...

Had a little delivery today...my 'new' winter wheels. :hyst Slightly earlier than I was hoping to buy some, but as a mate was looking for some wheels for the season I bought these and am letting him 'borrow' them until September. https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/t1/1146587_1015...

I hope its not that. That's a seat out, carpet out job. We don't have the weather for those sort of antics atm.
If you get it sorted or find out where yours is post up, please.
