i had a second thought about this, you cant remove the tensioner without taking both cams out and the front timing off

it is easier to remove the front belt and replace it at the same time, makes it easier to time the two cams together which has to be done before the fronts timed up if that makes sense, also are you sure its not the hydraulic follwers rather then the chain tensioner?

do all these cars have roughly the same arch to tyre gap? is the only difference sill to floor gap?

the thing is im an engine reconditioner and ive done 90% of the work myself including fitting and removal so i know roughly what its cost me just wondered what everyone else had / would have to pay

hi, mines an afn engine code, did it bring on any engine manangement lights when u did it and could i run a boost gauge from the vacuum pipes instead of blanking them off?

hi all, i would like to change the interior of my 1998 S reg B5 passat, what options do i have? i'd like leather, and to keep the seat airbags for obvious reasons, its got manually adjustable seats so what donor vehicle do i need to be searching for? also how do i tell if its a sport model? one last...
