Will the chrome part of the dsg trim pull up near to the ashtray? Best thing to use is trim removal tool or the end of a spoon wrapped in tape, there will be about 6 clips holding it in all the way around!

I had the exact same problem but also had a spare ash tray part in my parts box so switched the 12v charger with the one out of other ashtray, you can remove the whole thing if you don't want to just change the bulb, but I guess that's more hassle!

been tempted to buy whats seems like the only r line fog light grill thats on ebay at the moment but waiting to upgrade to high line ccm to fit cornering fogs with the tuning shop harness

I have enquired with these guys http://www.motormods.co.uk/cruise_control.html They do it for £169inc VAT, and said they need the vehicle for around 2hrs. Its rediculous how travelling a few miles apart from one MOT tester to another can be a pass or fail from HID's !

Yeah did the same to mine mate, very easy just bolt straight in Are your current ones heated ? if so the harness for heating etc should be the same for the new seats

Do you mean the sports bucket style seats ? which do you have in at the moment mate ? They are a straight fit, most VAG group seats will bolt straight in across the range ;)

Ah I was going to rent one to do my interior as the seats are dirty, do you have some tips for cleaning the seats mate? (sorry to hijack the thread)

I would get the rug doctor mate from b&q for 24 hours should sort it out, and you would still have 23 hours of fun cleaning left after it!

Last time i looked about a week ago there were two, a silver one with about 75,000 miles on autotrader and also on ebay motors there is a black one with slightly less mileage top of the range As you can tell for me its just a pipe dream atm haha !

Yes if the 2.0tdi is a B6 then they will fit

What head unit do you have mate ? I got the same harness from car audio security but because you have to wire to ignition so i went to halfrauds and got one of theirs :) But yeah if you just connect it to a switched live like greg said,then test it first by switching on ignition and see if the unit ...

Ran mine down to almost empty and then put 50 litres of Shell nitro, so much more responsive on the motorway after about 50 miles !

You got that at a very good price!! The Cr engine is the most refined block they have done in the B6, and they sorted the niggles which were traits of the 2.0 tdi so you should be very happy indeedey

Yep agree with greg!! my 1.9tdi 2006 has been awesome! The 1.9 engine is the strongest engine vw have ever made, hence why it was in the polo and skoda for years

Ahh it's actually just the reflection of me that bit that looks like a previous repair I will be taking it in tomorrow, does anyone know how long they take the car in for if I am actually successful in getting them resprayed?
