he resistored one on the circuits to remove the airbag fault that would have been created by putting a single stage on Putting a resistor in circuit to defeat the Air Bag sensor that one of the igniter circuits has not been connected means that in the event of a crash you will not be fully protecte...

Yeah the cars a b6 it's 2006 I have done lots of upgrades to b7 interior

Sorry no I do have a part number as it's not a vw module and no its not plug and play it requires soldering and modding to steering column module

This was carried out by alex retrofit on Facebook he supplied and l did all the basic mods to the module as I was the first passat, it was a trial. I don't know if he will supply the module by itself for self retrofit but you could always ask him

Okay many thanks I have ordered the adapter!

Is there an adapter loom for connecting up the dash clock? And do I need anything else for it to work?

No errors and no I didn't have to code anything I just plugged it all together it works. Ideally you could do with finding a donor car to make life easier for the wiring loom

Right guys you will be pleased to know that I have now done it and swapped it all over just waiting for the dash to come back from the trimmers I have tested it in its current state and its all working perfectly

That's the electric auxiliary heater that you are on about isn't it as the webasto heaters are in the engine bay with only small communication like wire that plug in to the cecm

Thanks in all fairness now its stripped and I have a full looms already pre made with all the correct pins and plugs it doesn't look overly complex as such

Hi all
Has anyone retrofitted the webasto diesel heater in there passat if so how much work is there involved with this as I can't seem to find much information about it on line as If I was to do It I will do it while I am retrofitting my duel climate control
