What did you do to your lights to get them looking like that? Or are they the R-Line darkened ones? Look really good! [emoji106]cookie cc wrote:lights and Windows done.

Re: OEM number plate LED's
Hi Guys, Going through the last brochure (1 October 2011) for the Passat CC, it states that the number plate lights are LED if the Bi-Xenon option is purchased. My Passat CC was registered June 2011. It has the Bi Xenons option but only has regular (halogen) number plate lights. Anybody else with f...

Re: Calling all Passat CC owners.....
Just an update guys, wrote to VW customer services again and mentioned the link to this forum and the numerous other complaints online. They wouldn't even offer a goodwill gesture contribution, just basically said tough luck. I love my CC and it is a minor issue but it had still made me extremely di...

Re: Passat CC Lowering springs (H&R)
I had fk 40mm springs from http://www.carpartstuning.co.uk (I think that's the website, if not google car parts tuning) The prices change weekly too, I paid about £90 for mine but have seen them go for as little as £22 delivered before They gave a nice drop and the original shocks worked fine wit...

Re: Calling all Passat CC owners.....
VW head office have agreed with my local dealer (Peter Cooper) that I will pay a third towards the cost of the repair - VW are picking up the rest of the bill. That sounds a LITTLE more fair but I still feel that they should cover the cost of replacing the part! :( I've sent an email to VW customer...

Re: Calling all Passat CC owners.....
2009 cc, mines cracked too! VW declined to repair, as apparently it's environmental damage or from bad washing techniques... It really annoyed me!! If anyone has any more info then please let me know as I would go back to VW head office again. My cars out of warranty but this should not happen, clea...

Re: Lowering Springs - Please Help!
With the gt you have the ddc? I know how h&r are definitely compatible with ddc, but are you sure the eibach ones are. I know a lot of the other guys on vwvortex use h&r. I'm in the same situation, but thinking of taking the hit and getting the ddc coilover from kw Yeah I have the DDC with ...

Re: Lowering Springs - Please Help!
What's GT spec, lowest ? Normally I suggest new shocks, but not at that mileage. Us B5.5 Sport model guys only get a 15 mm drop with -30 mm Eibach Pro's as Sport is 15mm lower than Standard S, SE and Highline models. So -25 mm is good. The GT spec is the sporty model but as far as I'm aware there's...

Re: Lowering Springs - Please Help!
Nooooooooo :( Eibachs are fine tuned to axle weights. For a B5.5 Wagon, depending on engine and transmission combo and axle weights there are 6 different Pro kits. Ahh fair enough then! Will stick to the Eibach 25mm pro kit for the CC! I'm tempted by the H&R sport springs but worried they'll be...

Lowering Springs - Please Help!
Hi guys, I want to lower my 2009 Passat CC 2.0tdi GT, ideally 30mm all round. After reading reviews I have decided against H&R 40mm due to the ride becoming a little harsh, and have decided on Eibach Pro's. The front axel weight of my CC is 1080kg and 930kg on the rear, but Eibach only do 25mm l...

Haha That's true, seen a few bad spins at the action day when it rained, horrible to see though - can't help thinking of how devastating it must be to get out and review the damage you've just done! lolcliff81 wrote:Wet track better action

Re: 2009 CC GT chrome exhaust tips size
I think there is only 2 that fit the passat cc. The oem ones from vw.. But at 95 bills... A tad bit dear. There is also the Chinese copies at about 20 quid. I have just got some today, which I will fit tomorrow. And get a picture up, only thing is I have heard they rust a bit. If this one rusts, I ...

Yeah £95 is very steep! :O
May just bite the bullet and go for a set, already wasted £27 on skoda ones which apparently fit sciroccos etc but marginally too small for my CC

Some good info! [THUMBS UP SIGN] I'll definitely look into this, sounds FAIRLY straight forward!
I'm not sure if the CC has a similar cluster but worth me having a look into it first!
Thanks again for the post - very useful stuff! [THUMBS UP SIGN]

Diesel beetle hold there prices 1.6 get lowest mileage possible exhaust valves burn out, 2.0ltr petrol is good engine my mrs old 2.0 beetle averaged around 32mpg but they tend to use abit of oil.
