The spare key is new, Its been cut and I have synced it with the remote to unlock the doors.

So all I need now is the software and a cable and it can be matched to the immobiliser?

Update - Managed to program the key fob to unlock and lock the doors, all I need now is to get it working with the immobiliser. Is this possible?

My B5.5 came with a really crappy aftermarket stereo.

I bought an original VW head unit and dash 6 cd changer from an online breaker but it has no code.

Is it possible to find one online?

I´ve done this for Ford´s before.

Every time I get below a quarter tank the car starts misfiring and running rough, the check engine light comes on and sometimes flashes when driving uphill.
