Re: Abs fault code 00283 light on

Looks like I could have sorted it a light tap with the hammer and the sensor moved in a smidge closer to the reluctor ring and appears to have cured the abs from kicking in :-c
No it's a bit strange driving without the abs light on or judging when coming to a stop ! :D

Re: Abs fault code 00283 light on

One piece of good news just pushed the sensor all the way home and pulled back a touch cleared the code and the lights stayed off :esm
But the abs is kicking in now when you come to a stop it seems to kick in below 10ish mph could the other ring be knackered with a missing tooth or the like ?

Re: Oil Sensor warning?

Can be a fault that can be cleared by disconnecting the battery for 5 mins happened to mine oil light came on topped it up but light stayed on.
Disconnected the battery for 5 mins and it's cleared, worth a try and free !

Re: Abs reluctor ring

Hi from doing some research it's to do with the abs sensor distance from the ring of a damaged ring.
I've changed the sensor and tried adjusting the distance but no change so am looking at the ring being damaged.
