Re: My b4 Passat from Australia
Had a show coming up so decided to get the air ride done in time. Made sense, the roads are terrible around the city + my driveway is a nightmare so is getting in the garage. I was going through sump drain plugs on the weekly.. A few pics of how she sat for the show on merc caps + new lip. Salad sho...

Re: 16v Idle issues
Yeah have replaced the temp sensor with a new one recently. Have also checked all plugs etc..
If I wiggle the TPS wire the one that comes out of the little black box and goes into the orange connector, it sends it into a high RPM... then drops back down

Re: 16v Idle issues
Cheers, the first video is it from cold, so I never Rev it that hard normally. Once warmed up there is no spluttering.
Yeah I think either TPS or ISV, i'll order a new ISV... almost got it all sorted just need it to drop to normal idle smoothly without doing it in stages.

16v Idle issues
This is really doing my head in, been trying to sort this car for 6 months now. Can't figure it out for the life of me, finally got it to idle lower and smooth. But now for some reason when it warms up the engine won't drop to idle smoothly, it sort of lowers then pauses then lowers then pauses unti...

Re: b3 16v rough start when cold and high idle when warm
Na no change when unplugging the col start valve.. yeah it's a K-Jet. The fuel pressure reg is the one to the right on the metering head yeah? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tue3yYxXvU There is this now also.. ^ when blocking the vacuum hose off it seems to idle a lot nicer. Can I bypass the oil b...

B3 TPS wiring reading high voltage
Long story short. Trying to sort out the high idle on my b3. 16v 2.0L 9a Unplugged the TPS to test the reading from the wires. The signal wire and the other one that's not the ground wire are both reading around 11.45 ish Volts. Now why would that be? Isn't it meant to be no more than 5.0V? Doing my...

b4 Window in b3
Hey guys,
Needing a new front window for my b3 to get it road worthy. Have tracked down a brand new b4 window. Round corner, will this fit? PLease say yes as to find a b3 window is near impossible here in Australia.

Re: B3 interior fan blower won't work on any setting
Sorted, was a fuse missing for some reason, above the windows fuse above the fuse box, if that makes sense. Fan goes now on all settings however not a heap of air comes out? would that be a clogged pollen filter perhaps? also doesnt really go cold cold. Warm is good though

Re: B3 interior fan blower won't work on any setting
mmm so tested it with a circuit tester, there is no power to the fan switch :/ or the fan blower itself.

Re: B3 interior fan blower won't work on any setting
Cheers, I already checked the contact and it seems to be making contact fine. So it seems.
Fuse is fine, yeah resistor could be good, do you have a spare relay also?

B3 interior fan blower won't work on any setting
Hey guys, Done a heap of research on this, but cannot get the dam thing to work. Replaced the blower itself and tested it with 12v - works perfect. I have no power to my fan control switch, no settings 1,2,3,4 work. Would it be the resistor or relay? I ruled out resistor as this would only be the ca...
