Re: Xenon passat headlights

I'm about to fit a set of these when they arrive. what with the 3 light clusters? is one headlight, one dipped and one side light? or do 2 light up when u use dipped headlight. looking at the unit u have an old style dipped light, a projector lense and a headlight with side light :-s

thanks

Re: 1.8t holding back - HELP with vagcom logs

I swapped out the turbo, and it seems that the actuator was sticking slightly. so causing it to hold back as it was overboosting. but I had no codes to say this and vag cam/vcds did not point me in this direction. but even after changing over the turbo, it still holds back when WOT at...

Under the inlet manifold mate on the 1.8t. It's on a triangle shaped plate bolted underneath the manifold. There are 2 solenoid valves 1 n249 and the other is for SAI system. But both the same valve part number.

Re: 1.8t holding back - HELP with vagcom logs

been having a think :-?

even though I cant diagnose fuel pressure via vcds, would the car throw fault codes if it was being starved of fuel, would I get eg: bank 1 too lean etc etc?? is there another way to diagnose lack of fuel, running to lean when WOT?

thanks

I've had arch work done, they've been pulled loads, and get 2 set of -1 camber shims.

It's just a costly mistake if they are 2 wide as there costing over £1k
