Well always like dubs and had golf's, polo's, a beetle and a camper before, and then needed a decent sized family car, the obvious choice was a Passat. Originally i wanted a wagon but found mine, a 1.8 20 VT and fell in love with it. I've never regretted buying it and never will.

I'm just using the plate i took off the air box, but i'm thinking i need to put something else there to.

does this do any long term damage to your turbo ?

i think the centre brake light has a seperate earth to the two other brake lights, just check all the connections.

have you had the arches rolled or do they tuck inside nicely? i'm on the look out for some coilovers as we speak, your car has inspired me lol i have 5 mint condition speedlines (well centre caps are a bit shabby) but they are all mine and i'm keeping them lol :D but i'm thinking i may have them ref...

mate you gotta keep the speedlines, it looks awsome dropped on OEM wheels. i have been trying to decide for ages now wether i should change my wheels, now seeing yours just made my mind up for me i'm just going to drop it and stick to the rims i have.

might have been me, i live in farnham and go to aldershot quite a bit.

it looks good but still reckon the distance between rear wheels and towing hitch would make the back of the car pulling nearly drag on the ground.

it looks a bit dodgy if you ask me, look at the distance between where the towing hitch is and the rear wheel of the trailer, there would be to much weight on the back of the b5 pulling it, unless it's just an empty shell, the bum end of the car pulling it would be dragging on the ground.

only got it if i tried to F5 (refresh the page), other than that no problems to report.....

I have seen a b5.5 with large lower grilles in crome, they looked ok, the car was black so they really stood out, depends on taste really.

myself i would keep them black, or have them painted the same colour as ya bumper.

yeah a ssat is definitely bigger than an A4, you can tell just by the leg room in the back.

sounds like the rod from the internal handle has popped out or worse still snapped, as for the outside handle not sure, you will have to dismantle the whole interior door card and window mech to get to it,

Unles you plan on doing banger racing that is.........

pull off the black plastic panel on the end of the dash on the drivers side (covered by the door when it's closed) the main fuses are there.
and the relays are behind the lower dash panel, drivers side again ( easier if you remove the whole panel to get to them)
