Re: Strange suttle bong from speakers while driving
it could just be the stereo sometimes if wires are close together they can start a low pitched rumble though this is normally when running amps but I dare say with all the gizmo's these days it could be related.

Where abouts are you? If your close pop round and we'll give this Mercedes Benz tool a go. The poor mechanic that last serviced the car before I bought it left it on. I've used it ever since and it fits very nicely. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v602/colin__/AA%20Passat%20Highline/Photo0493_zps...

Re: Oil Filter Cap Stuck
Seriously bin the halfords one, i had one i tried to use on my crafter and the square hold got chewed up too. Buy one of these which are so much better quality and you can use a socket on it if you wish. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-VW-VOLKSWAGEN-SPECIAL-TOOL-OIL-FILTER-REMOVAL-REMOVER-3417-/3...

Re: Oil Filter Cap Stuck
Well an update new tool here still no good the tool is just not deep enough to adequately grip the top it needs to be about 7-10 mm deeper to actually grip it without twisting off under pressure. I guess it's game over for it to be honest totally fed up with it
