Re: wagon boot door
If the arm won't move sounds like the lock mechanism at bottom is siezed and the only way to access it is to remove plastic panel but you're going to scrap the panel trying to remove it. Have you unclipped arm from key barrel end and tried to pull it as it might be the barrel end is jammed causing t...

Re: wagon boot door
Lock seized or actuator arm failing to work, you will need to either prise inner plastic cover off enough to gain access to actuator arm and pull it manually or drill hole in plastic cover to again get access to actuator so you can open boot.

Re: front shock assembly
ill try it when i fit new bearings, but surely with the full weight of the car on the shock it should give enough pressure to force shock up into correct position to allow tightening of nut

Re: B3 Rammed Van & Wagon
going through insurance they will write it off, by the time the insurance approved repairers have put in their sky high quote for a new bumper and rear panel it,ll probably come out to over £700 and insurers only repair up to 66% of car value so unless you got agreed value i think you may end up wi...

Re: Insurance groups?
classic insurance is only for over 25,s and car will need to garaged overnight and also limited mileage as i looked into it ,met the over 25 rule no probs, unfortunately failed garage rule.

Re: B4 rear lights 'middle part' ?
cheapest option would be to get hold of inner lights and remove lens and cut to shape and then use b3 tailgate plastic tub for fixing to, got to be worth a try and would be much easier to get parts.

Re: B4 bonnet cable problem?
can you not try and remove plastic front grill and get access that way, cheaper to replace grill if you damage it than damage the bonnet.the grill is only held in by 3 lugs at top and 2 pegs at bottom iirc
