silver b5.5, smooth front. a617 Newark

Spotted a low b5.5 saloon in silver on looked like black wheels, all front end smoothed and plate in Windscreen.
Seen coming the other way on sat morning around 8:15 at Newark near the rugby club.
I was in a blue b5.5 estate. Flashed at you.
Anybody from here?

They're not too bad, although I do have access to the tools at work but took about an hour a side including the wiring but thats not fully neatened in yet. Door card off, and then a torx bolt on the mirror. But Id advise getting some spare trim clips for the door as I broke a couple on removal as th...

Managed to source some skoda superb mirrors last week so put them on today. Need painting tho. Only got indicators but still got them for a bargain price so cant grumble. Well managed to fit my coilovers over the last few days. (I looked but couldnt see the vin sticker in boot but. The boot Is full and it was raining)

Yeah its a pain parking there but other half's car is on the drive as no t&t or ins cos shes not passed yet so I'm relegated to the pathway lol.
Not thought of that yet.
Would later spec mirrors with indicators fit? Is there a feed already in the body loom for them?

No Chris, not yet. Sprayed all the blots etc with SAS (WD40) equivalent. Ready for when I do.
Yeah ill get some pics up when fitted.
Looks like they are fk so a reasonable brand. Altho one of the rear shocks is a bit soft. But see how they are when fitted.

They are called 'DRL' lights but they are just the sidelights but LED rather than bulbs.

Keep on seeing this around Mansfield.
Black b6 estate, black wheels. (look like Audi rs wheels). Seen parked up at kwikfit Mansfield.

Also seen a silver b6 saloon on 3sdm 005's a few times

Thanks, the plan is next to get some coilies and then nice wheels but no rush at the moment for the wheels. Thinking along the lines of monoblock style wheels of some sort.
The lights are just that something a little bit different. But like you say, not going to be everyone's cup of tea.

Well finally started to do little bits and piecea on it. Firstly fitted a darkside developments egr delete kit today as mine was leaking. Seems to have stopped the noise I was getting. Also polished my dingey headlights so might be able to see at night. Slow progress but in the right direction hopef...
