check the wiring with the headunit the alarm uses the same ground wires
or check the speaker wires in that door to see if ther connected properly.

Hi, you will need 2x CR 1620 or equivalent, 3volts batteryes. You could get them in your local maplin, dixons or halfords store ! i'm a big golf mk1 fan and I think it is the best hot hatch of all time, i bought the golf gti book and according to that even though each new gti has more BHP there not as quick and nibble as the origonal. i've wanted one for about 6 years now but the insurance is still too dear.
