Check for cut wires in the rubber boot in the door shut hinge area.

Fuse 14, 10 amp - did the exact same thing myself the other week! Looking at fuse box at end of dash, third from left, third one down. Check the duct from the air intake to the top of the airbox, these are a poor fit and offen vibrate through the rev range if not pushed fully home.
Or worn rubber mounts on the engine cover, these also fail making an awful racket.

When the filter is out you can push the tube down into the oil cooler gallery thus drawing out the oil that wouldnt normally be drained though a normal sump plug oil and filter change.. :D

I always go OEM mate but Mann are the OEM manufacturer for filters.
