had my rear brakes done at the weekend,now i am getting parking brake fault on dash,im thinking its connected with brakes getting done...anyone any idea what would cause it? dont wanna go mouthin off at mechanic in case im wrong....thanks in advance for any help.

1.9 bluemotion..main dealers up here in scotland are mostly owned by rip off arnold clark...they quoted 800 quid for steering lock switch!!!.found an independent who took 275..he cant fit me in for a coupla weeks,so on the lookout still.

dont wanna be ripped off,so roughly how much should i be payin for timing belt replacement?any guidance much appreciated.

hi,new to site,and new to vws..have a b6 estate,bluemotion,nice enuff car,im gonna attempt my rear brake pads,but i hear its not straightforward..any help much appreciated.been changin brakes for years,but vw seem to make it a wee bit more complicated,so i hear,or is it straightforward?thnx in ...
