Headlights I want to see more....
ok for a while I have been driving at night and get more and more frustrated with the poor output of the B6 passat headlight beam. New bulbs and alignment done but just doesn't match my previous crappy Mondeo or my partners 320d. Which she likes to remind me when driving the passat lol. So basically...

Re: Low pressure A/C switch 2008 2.0 tdi passat. WHERE???
Sorry for the late reply, Ok done a scan using obd11 and high pressure and low pressure faults came up on the air con system. So shhh I pressed the little schrader valve on the aircon system very slightly just to see if any gas was actually present.... Guess what 😳 no gas/ refrigerant released.. in ...

I don't have a problem ge...

Re: Strange things are happening 2008 2.0tdi 140bhp
Done a little vacuum test to the actuator and I'm not able to gain any vacuum. Looks like the diaphragm is goosed. Has anyone changed the actuator or do we have a how to on how to change it? I'm wondering would VW cover it under the recall for emissions?

Anyone? Surely I can't be the only one. Lol. If it's anything to do with turbo or egr system or injectors would it not be covered under the recall for the emissions?

Re: I'm back after a hellish ford
Had it scanned today using OBDeleven showed up 7 faults 😥 1 on the immobiliser , 1 air con refrigerant pressure low, 1 drivers door open, and 4 on the braking system showing implausible signals to the auto hold button and to the parking brake switch. So hopefully 2 new switches and all will be grand...

Re: I'm back after a hellish ford
So if not the handbrake that activates the auto hold feature what does? I have however noticed that the driver rear wheel when doing the touch test feel considerably hotter than the passenger side. I have scanned it with an OBD bluetooth devive and shows nothing except 02 sensor bank 4 :-? Cleared t...

Re: Brake problem
Just another quick question. My wiring not done by me to the trailer socket shorted the indicators in the boot blowing the fuse. Replaced the fuses and now my indicators don't flash on lock or open but I can hear the relay in the ccm click. When I tested it as I sat in the car. Any thoughts or ideas...

Re: Quick Question to put my mind at ease regards tyres.
Cheers sisson,
See im looking at the bigger picture, dont need expensive tyres if they are only going to be on for 3-6 months before i payout for 18"s and lower the car 45mm all round. i like the comfort but also the low look. BBS CH would look nice on my silver Ssat.

To finish the work off i need to had new tyres all round fitted and a wheel alignment. The problem i have is that the tyres on the car are 205/60/15 whi...
