Just done a search & your fault code is the same as p2111 which is what i had. I think vw wanted around £300 & they are anything from £120-£250 on ebay. I was lucky & got a used one of a 20k salvaged audi
a4 For £70 & its been fine. I will get the part number of mine tomorrow.

Hi, the part number for the throttle body should be 03L-128-063 C. It is easy to locate it. Anything with the same number but ending in B D E G K AL is all the same. If you search throttle valve on here & skip to page 3 you will see my old topic on it.

Thanks to the help of a fellow forum member little_geoff my poor B6 headlights are now very sorted. Led projector side lights, led main beams & 6000k white hid's. Hopefully no more poor vision at night time. http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/focused01/tdi027.jpg http://i790.photobucket.co...

Re: 008465 Throttle Valve stuck open - advice please.
Pop the engine cover off & at the front of the engine in the centre there is a fat pipe. The top of the pipe is connected to the throttle body. There is only one connector on it. The throttle body is bolted in the front of the egr. If u cant find it i will post a pic up for you.

Re: 008465 Throttle Valve stuck open - advice please.
Disconnect the electrcal connector from the throttle body & if its full of oil clean it all out & it will be ok for a few weeks. If it is full of oil then you need a new throttle body. The hot oil from the egr melts the seals awsy. I replaced mine with the audi variant that has metal seals. ...

If your up in the north east why not have a look at scag car auctions ( Scottish car auction group ). I'm in gloucester & brought my b6 from Aberdeen. Got mine 3 years ago with 51k & with indemnity cost me £5215. At that time the average forecourt price was £8000 +. I went for the 2.0 Tdi ...

This is just a part of change. Put yourself in his shoes. If it were your first foreman appointment wouldn't you want everything 100% & make changes if you thought it was needed. Noticed you removed the end of your last post saying some of us have no respect for him at all. Maybe he knows this &...

Re: Bi-polar?Stress related,any advice?
We use the term directive leadership as you will do what I say. Your foreman is responsible for what work he is allocating to his colleagues not you. If he is making wrong decisions then his manager will come down hard on him as he will be accountable for your foremans mistakes. Whether you think yo...

I am a manager for a leading supermarket chain & come across this behaviour quiet alot. If he is new to his leadership role give him time to settle into his new role & responsibilites. It might be hard to start with but it will get better.

Re: Whats this worth? ....NOT PASSAT!
A good start would be looking at the very low milage examples on ebay. This would put yours around the £800 - 1200 mark. Now if it were a mg metro turbo it would be nearer the 5k mark & if it were an early turbo like a Y,A or B reg then nearer the 10k mark. Unfortunatly when it comes to a bog s...

Got my headlight bulb set & have fitted the main beam & sidelight led's. I can't fit my hid set as my giant hands don't fit in the back of my headlights. My car is a 2008 cr Tdi. I have the full kit here that tahir hooked me up with. I am looking at next weekend now & don't mind travelli...

Not sure what he means by that. But your dead right. Your not a mechanic or a dealer so buyer beware. Its as simple as that. This is why the aa/rac inspection is there for.
