Re: What fuel do you use in your Petrol engine
apparently v power is enriched with nitrogen which boosts the octain rating, the only thing with that is nitrogen detonates at a different pressure which means to be efficient youd have to adjust your spark timing. might as well go hydrogen and petrol and end up with a really clean engine

I dont think it makes much odds unless your racing. makes you wonder what the GOV is sneaking in fuels these days. depends on the tuning of your car too. not a big deal if your able to remap. would love to see a dyno though. bet its only like 4hp difference.

you want to go for ads that do say there is something wrong thats an easy fix, theres always something wrong with a used car, people are liars usually. I was lucky that the dealer I met was sound as a pound, he even pointed out the odd thing that wasnt mentioned previously. I saw my car at night and...

I tried a few fuels in mine I found the momentum 99 gave good throttle response bus I got slightly worse mpg. could be down to the fact that I kept testing the throttle on the way home, I know that you have to be careful as some additives like ethanol can kill seals and other rubber bits. a guy I us...

you should be able to hear a lil hissing if its an air leak. yeah your bang on m8. I managed to get the only bolt there out and its an m8 12.5mm long 8.8 grade mild steel alan key bolt which needs a 6mm alan key. I'm replacing them with some high tensile zinc coated ones with hex heads as alan keys are just a pain in the neck. ( thought I'd put as much info a...
