thanks for your previous help on this,the problem did stop after some tinkering,I don't know what I did which made the difference but,now it's back. a friend ran a diagnostics tool on it today and it showed up the code ''00282 throttle position actuator (v60) not plausible signal'' are there any sim...

could be knackered fuel pump or dirty injector but first check your inlet hose near the crank case breather if its oily or creamy then its probz a dirty ISV idle stabilisation valve. get some carb cleaner and take it off n soak the end in carb cleaner, get it clean let all the cleaner evaporate bef...

jumpy revs during idle and running 1.8 b4 wagon
as title suggests,when it starts up sometimes the revs jump straight to 11-13 then dive to 5,then they duck and dive,it also does this while under power.if I blip the throttle it occasionally settles to around 10 until the choke lets off but not always,it appears to be getting worse or at least more...

:???: Can anyone advise me on this please? my gear knob is loose and this got me thinking about changing it for one of my old longboard wheels but,what size thread is it? nothing in my tool box fits,M12 is too small and M14 is too big.M13 seems not to exist in retail outlets,surely its not imperial....

cheers guys,its amazing how different it looks just by being lowered.its got a real 'stealth look' about it now.my next quandry is what to do with the wheels as I'm not a fan of the trims it came with.

A friend and I fitted the new shocks'n'springs today,it did'nt take very long.2hrs infact from start to finish.I went with a 60mm drop both ends,I also debadged the tailgate and satin blacked the front emblem.the results speak for themselves.no tracking issues as yet either! :D :D http://img3013.pho...

B3/4 passats dont use the weird long bump stops that mk2 golfs use, they use little stubby ones so theres not really any need to cut them down. Mines down about 50mm all round on PI lowering springs and koni shocks and I havent cut the bump stops down. I havent felt it bottom out yet . . . tbh id b...
