hi all i have a problem with my b5 tdi my number plate lights aint working ive put new bulbs in as the other ones had blown but still no nothing which fuse would i need to check as ive not got a booklet with my car or if you got any advise please give it thanks!!!

the 110 is a bit flat as ive got one and you should get it remapped yourll see about 143bhp for that then get a merc maf then you could get kerma injecters and yourll see 165+bhp and about 300+nm of torque.

well im going to make up my own blanking plates to remove the egr to save money and i dont think allard make the blanking plates.

what is yours and have you rang them to ask , as they said it would fit mine ok, and they do fitting kits with blanking plates etc pm me ant well i phoned them and they said the same thing to me so i got one and it doesnt fit. so im going to make my own blanking plates. if your inlet looks like min...

hi ant as your saying that you want to use an allard egr replacement valve you will need to see if you can use one as i cant on my 110 tdi coz its totally different to a mk4 golf or the 130 tdis you would need to make up your own plates or you can buy them.

looks like a clean one nice colour to and a tdi like mine and yeah do the merc maf it does make a bit of difference as ive done it to mine with a remap.

cheers mate ill be taking my egr valve of mine soon to help to smoke from the remap and to help it when i get bigger injeceters!!

yes mine is an AFN and there's no need to spend any money what-so-ever doing this. either just disconnect and block off the vac pipe from the egr valve or (what I did) remove the whole thing, cut two oval shaped plates from some flat steel and bolt in place over the resulting holes left by the egr ...

you could speak to simon at upsolute hes a top bloke and he comes to you. i can recomend him hes done my 1.8t and my tdi and im well happy with them both. heres his number 07957240822

do you know if it is the egr though? coz mine aint got an egr valve its just an egr pipe so it wont come up with a fault!

which egr kit do you need?

its all about the money ive just brought an egr bypass pipe the next thing is my pp764 nozzles so air ride would be a long time away and yes james did do his own air ride!

now youve got the spacers on you can get it low like mine with the great stance!!!!

oh and is your rear beam sitting ok!!
