clutch burn after remap...

Last week I put a blacksmoke remap on my b5.5 and now the turbo whistles more than it did and the clutch gets really hot and smells of burning when I drive it, I'm not that concerned but I wondered if anyone else had experienced this? Re: Do I really need an exhaust heatshield?

yes mate received it today was a right pain removing the old cat :( the ets one looks ok, i dont expect it to last long but it was cheap enough, the only slight issue was the holes for the nuts were ever so slightly off but a hammer sorted it!

blacksmoke remap...

I've come across blacksmokes site and was amazed to see a DIY map costs only £45, has anyone actually done this themselves, I would use an MPPS cable from ebay to be honest if I did buy a map

Im sure I saw a thread on here about someone who had bought a de-cat pipe from john ashley exhausts walsall a while ago...is it you? if so how much did you pay, was it custom built, did you have to wait for it to be made? I'm going to ring them tomorrow as I want one
