Re: Passat B6 inside windows misting
Thanks Ben, this will do for now untill I find out the main reason why there is condensation inside.
It's probably a faulty seal on one of the doors.

Passat B6 inside windows misting
Hi, has anyone had any issues with the inside of the windscreen misting? This morning the outside of the windscreen was frosted which was normal given the temperature was -2 but the inside of the window also had a thin layer of ice.
Please let me know of any advice.
Thanks

Black smoke when accelarting
Hi, I have just purchased my Passat B6, when stationery and I accelerate at good speed I get a large amount of black smoke appear from the exhaust. Any idea what this could be? This only happens on the initial hard acceleration after car has been started and after that it is fine.

Re: Passat B6 - Armrest
Mechanism has arrived, how do I remove the upholstery from the original mechanism and transfer over? I can see that there are 4 screws needs removing, but unsure how to get to them.

Re: Passat B6 - Armrest
Really easy to do, I bought the mechanism off Ebay and will swap them over.
I'm just glad I didnt have to take the centre console apart.

Passat B6 - Armrest
Hi, I have just aquired a 2007 B6 Estate Passat.
The only issue so far which I have with the car is the armrest. When I set it to desired angle, after a short period it keeps dropping from the latch.
Any ideas on how to repair this? or is it a swap out for a new one?

Re: Rear Luggage cover
Yes, looks like the mechanism is stuck and when I push down on the button it's not releasing the clip.

Rear Luggage cover
Hi, I have just purchased a Passat B6 2007. The rear cover that is attached in the boot does not come off. It expands and retains inside the comparment fine. If I press the clip on the right hand side it is stiff. I have tried to press it down but still no joy. Any ideas how I can take it off? Thanks.

Re: 3 Button Fob
I have managed to open the fob to the battery section, but the remote buttons are on the other side. How can I remove out of the other half shell so I can diagnose if the fault is with the button or with the switch?
Thanks
Thanks
