Re: B3 Van & Wagon

Very nice job on the install on that carbon, but unless you're doing more of it (pillar trims on the doors etc.), I'd do what you've already done & just gone back to basic black.

Now, about those clear lenses... At your convenience, keep an eye out for another reasonably-priced set of your Rover ...

Just added the Votex front 'grill' for grins & giggles. Don't look half bad against the ecodes. B-) Even managed to source some factory yellow H4 bulbs for a different look.

Odd question for the list...

I was wondering if anyone's sucessfully swapped the motor/switch etc. for the sunroof of a B4 into a B3. I'm getting tired of the sunroof switch on mine poking into the motor cover. I've tried multiple covers & they all seem to have the same issue over time. Logic tells me the only differences ...

Re: Water in rear quarter panel??

Yep. I've currently been making due by stuffing the central locking pump in a plastic bag & waiting for warmer, drier weather. Oh, and finding some commercially-sold motivation. :-s

I'd think you should still be able to source those from your local. The part number is 191-853-615-A & they only sell for $1.74US here.

Re: Audio advice for the B3 Estate/Variant/Wagen

This is what I'm running in my dash (MB Quart QM100), minus the mounting plate & they do twist-lock in place. It was part of a set with the tweeter/mids, woofers & crossovers. The tweeter & the cone behind it have separate independant terminals & connections on the crossovers, making for a three-way ...

Re: Audio advice for the B3 Estate/Variant/Wagen

Thanks for the input. Given that the previous owner was a big-boom fan, he put a load of Dynamat in the car. Far more than I'd have expected. As for the dash spaekers: it seems like they twist-lock in place, so no screws needed. Ttill want to take a look at & see if it's possible to combine a front ...

Audio advice for the B3 Estate/Variant/Wagen

I'm curious if anyone here has done any kind of stealthy install on a B3v. The p/o of mine had crafted up a tub to fill the spare tire tub as well as the smaller cubby on the right side. Said tub was designed with two 10" subs in mind. Since I don't plan on needing this much bass, I'm considering ...

It's a Yakima & I actually hoarked it from my brother, who used to run it on his Toyota 4x4. One of the earlier shots of the car before I owned it had it on & I just liked the look.

The Tresers are definitely cool (I was actually looking for a set when I first got zee wagen), but I managed to score a mint-in-box Hella Heckblende & figured clear tails would finish out the rear end perfectly.

B3 desperately seeking...

a set of these for my wagen. I have no idea if they've ever actually been offered for the estate, but if so, they'd be about the last thing I need to finish off the rear of my bucket. I have seen pix on the Vortex of a set someone has fabbed up, but I'd like to know if that's my only option. Anyone ...
