Re: B3 Wagon The Brothel Kreeper

At last the long awaited build thread :hyst ,looking good and I cant wait to see it on some banded steelies. As yours is an oil burner you probably have drum rear breaks so If you need to add a little camber its a a 10 minute job, bit more lengthy with discs

Re: Egr delete advice

No pipe on mine just removed the ERG and blanked both ends, never bothered buying blanking plates I just used what I had laying about. Depending what pump you have there is a vacuum pipe that runs between the pump and the turbo elbow. Eco pumps dont have this pipe but there is still the take off on ...

Re: B3 Wagon, Big Red.

You can buy a B4, or any other car and go through the hole scenario again plus B3's seem to be better protected from rust. Personally I would possible try the sealer and then if that worked I would get the head gasket done and once that's done you should be good to go.

I had to plate mine on the GT after removing the covers, I did look at replacing the sills but the replacement ones did not have the indent that runs the length of the car

Re: B3 b4 crossover

Yes and no. They will fit but you will have to make up a bracket for the side bits as the b4 bumper dose not have the slidey bits, I do have bumper iron kicking about if you need it,it's not brilliant but useable as is, where are you located and there was a couple new ones on german e-bay last time ...

Re: My B3 16v wagon

I changed the metal sunroof for the moon roof on the van and it was a straight forward job using a b4 moon roof and keeping the b3 sunroof motor and if I remember where the drain holes are its plastic.

Just a thought dose your rear wiper water jet work and it could be the feed pipe

If you get caught It's normally a warning and a producer, If you get a complete twit of an officer worst case £60 fine. I got the £60 fine plus a warning about having the wrong size wheels on my car as they were not approved by VW and Iwas not using the car as intended. So I got the right twit of...

Re: B3 Wagon, Big Red.

we'll that front panel is not to my taste... but I'm jealous of the front bumper with built in fogs. I have lucas calipers on the front so I shall get a number from them and give bigred in worcs a call as they do recon kits for about 30 squids. You dont need to change the bumper if you want the fog...
