Anyone know how long the batteries last in the in wheel tyre pressure sensors that are original fit? Also what is the cost to replace?

Having tinted the fronts does the car remain legal? The front side windows must let at least 70% of the light through.

I've always understood that with power assisted steering one should not hold the steering at full lock.

Did you remember to reset the two average mpg memories? Also agree, brimming the tank method is best. For information my 62 reg 140 saloon has returned about 53 mpg at over 30000+ miles.

Attached photo shows tyre pressure display in my Passat B7 saloon 140 Sport which is late 2012 build.

I have 140 Sport Saloon. I have replaced/moved wheels and tyres around and after a short distance the factory fitted TPMS seems to sort itself out.

Thought it must be standard as my December 2012 registered 140 Sport diesel does this. I've got VCDS and could have a look round for codes if someone could point me in the right direction (novice VCDS user!).

Assuming you mean to cancel a traffic report while its being broadcast, I find that I only need to press the mic button once. You can of course disable traffic broadcasts altogether.
