You don't need any vagcom for the Chinese DRL's. You connect them up to the normal indicator plug. This gives you the indicator plus the earth for the DRL'S. there is a wire that comes out the back of the light and you need to connect that to an ignition source in the fusebox by the battery. When my parking sensors are activated it used to reduce the volume on my stereo, but not fully.
Since resetting my stereo it mutes it completely and it's annoying the hell out of me. ;)
Anyone know how to set a default volume when sensors are activated ?

The front indicator bulbs are an odd one, H21W. 21 watt bulbs as opposed to the 5 watt W5W parking light bulbs. Don't think that you can upgrade them, save for de-tango'ing your front indicators and putting amber bulbs in. Just de tango'd myself. Can't find a chrome/silver type h21w bulb anywhere. ...

I did it on my CC myself. Needed a triple square bit to get the steering wheel off , and I too had to run in a control wire to the Ecu. The biggest ball ache was having to cut off the security bolts to get the Ecu plugs offs ! Other than that pretty straight forward. (Don't dismantle the entire plug...

Mine cr140 tdi was a bit sluggish , it then started underboosting and a actuator was changed which improved things.
However I have had it remapped today And the difference is night and day. Pulling strong from around 2000.

I managed to have my car done as it was thought the Ecu may need to come out , so I can be taken off the list ..

I have vcds in hull.
