I have VCDS myself. The funny thing is it’s not registering fault codes.

So today getting into my car the keyless entry wouldn’t work. The message “Keyless access system faulty” keeps coming up and beeps repeatedly while driving down the road a piece.

Just to add. I was getting 2 rear tyres the other day. While having a nose around checking brakes and shocks i noticed the rear passenger side spring is broken at the bottom . Only that i noticed it visually i would have never known it was broken. Drives perfectly. No rattling and the car sits fine.

Funnily enough it’s been doing that for the past 2-3 years. AGM’s die a very slow death compared to normal batteries. You are right time to replace. There’s a France/Belgium/Amsterdam road trip coming up in September.
