Need to get the codes read first really, did it have just the motors replaced or the whole caliper? Can be a few things causing the fault

My b5.5 did the same as above I just kept trying it till it came open, pressing button and whacking near lock but took a few days! Much better than trying to get the doorcard off and trying to break/smash the lock apart

Think the dpf system uses the get to raise temps so it's both gone or leave as is
