My battery seems to have gone pretty flat - heated seats lights and I only use it for commuting. I don't know if this is a problem or not. I've noticed that when I stop and get out of the car there is a bit of a hissing noise from somewhere in the engine bay. I don't seem to be losing any coolant...or oil... Is this paranoia or the start of something serious? Is there a scientific way of testing?

I think Forge do the Silicon hoses.com stuff - I would have thought not too expensive for a small piece.

Mine is split too - AEB engine.

Can someone confirm what this does?

Presume can just buy some replacement hose of the correct length rather than back to VW or 2nd hand?
