The older 535d remapped must be near 300bhp so the newer ones must be way over.

I drove a 335i petrol a few months back and was not that impressed. On paper it looked unbeatable but I think the torque of the bmw diesels is unparalleled.

Only the best for that beast Gaz. I have seen a nice improvement in fuel economy since my last 507.0 service. I wouldn’t use anything else now.

Nice to have a change once in a while Gaz. I would hold on to your Passat as long as possible, even with this diesel government stuff going on the estate holding its value. Harder and harder to find estates in good condition. The saloon less so, but as we all know a looked after b5.5 will keep on go...

The FP 2882 is much more expensive, at 12 pounds it must be the 2862??

By the way Gaz have you sold your Passat? I read something about a Mercedes?

I kept the front right incase I get a unrepairable puncture or something but there 5 or 6 years old from the manufacturing date so I’m contemplating just throwing it away.

Found my receipt for the Goodyear tyres. Bought them exactly 5 years ago and they managed 15k miles. Most of which has been urban driving.

If the passenger side was fine and I changed them about 2 to 3mm left then I would easily have got 7 years and about 20k miles.

They have finally arrived. 2 failed delivery’s and nearly a month on. Just in time for the cold weather.

Need to get to grips on how to fit them. Seems easy enough though.
