Why would a UK car need to be remapped? For sure a lot of information on the defeat device isn't known but isn't it just supposed to detect and defeat a USA test and only then in respect of NOx? Today I took my Passat into the dealers to have a service. And a new intake manifold fitted. Get it back tomorrow. Dunno what the service will cost (probably $$$$), but the brand new manifold is free! Labour for fitting it $200 (50% discount)! Chocolate cake for the really "on to it" servi...
