Cambelt interval

Technically due next August 2020 if following the 4 year / 60K interval .

Had a iirc a Gates Cambelt Water pump kit last time , to date only done 9K , so where would you feel comfortable time wise to change given the low mileage ?

Re: Rear door speaker

Yes upgraded JBL polypropylene 6.5" .

I was lucky one Christmas to get two sets of components with in line cross overs , £29.99 per set .

All this for £30 , probably around double the price now but with separate proper crossovers .

Re: Tandem pump loose vac side

I've seen this a few times as well. I'm not entirely sure that it isn't normal. Any wobble will surely get "sucked off" when the vacuum starts sucking.... :- I'll have a look at mine tomorrow. The old boy is thinking like this and said it won't affect anything ! Engine running if you disturb it you...

Not good then , only proceed with turbo if you also do the big end bearings .

Re: Tandem pump loose vac side

Don't.. last stay was end of July to early October , throttle valve issue finally sorted with a never before wiring repair ! It's quite a car away from hospital , 60mpg+ , big bolstered Sports seats , the chunky multifunction flat bottomed steering wheel , AMG styling , and the RWD surprisingly neve...

Re: Tandem pump loose vac side

No rush now as the Merc is out of hospital . But I do like the idea of a reliable back up car . This , a mop , 2 front wings , a cl unit and ac condenser and regas and it'll be better than ever . Recently learned a MOT tester who did the ARB C links and wheel bearing had been passing these premature...

Cheers Aiden , it's either been like that or has been disturbed doing the hose .

Would an adhesive sealant like Sikaflex EBT work ?

Tandem pump loose vac side

Whilst doing the lovely coolant / breather hose at the back of the head I noticed the left ( vac side) of tandem pump was loose . It's the oversleeved with two original one use clips , thinking the nearest to tandem pump was loose I removed it and put on a jubilee with no success . Same as this AVB ...
