the mechnics have confused me! From what i remember seeing there's loads of adjustment, I just dont get what happens to the spring.. does it compress the spring? ...that's what they seemed to suggest. I still dont get how the adjustment works exactly

I was just looking under the bonnet and noticed how close the terminals are to the grill under the washer jets.

If water comes down the windscreen it could eeasily flow through the grill and straight onto the battery. It seems odd it shoudl be so easy for water to get in there

if you are a bit slack like me then you dont even need to take the glovebox out. My amp cable goes from the battery then to the top corner of the bonnet there a small gap by the wing, the cable can be fed through this gap then take out the gromet half way down the door frame and feed the cable ...
