VW tech is scratching his head. Unit is not showing a fault on diagnostics. ( No great surprise) so he's looked into a new SD card as mine is two versions behind. He did suggest me updating the card via the web... Oh yes, I've paid (well, company has) £27k for a car that I have to fix myself... And ...

Update: dealers had it for a day. Got it back with the message "we've updated it, of it happens again we'll need to raise it with VW technical" . Guess what? They haven't fixed it. It still refuses to navigate to ANYWHERE on the Kintyre peninsula if you have the 'no ferry' option ticked. ...

Main beams are H9, and do indeed have an angled connector. Looks like no one does any uprated bulbs in H9 yet.
