So did u wire the new 12v socket to the fuse box or existing cig lighter??

If its to the existing cig lighter was it done behind the existing cig lighter?

Am I right in thinking the fuse box is on the drivers side of the dash? And that why it was wired direct?

Hi guys iv got oil present in egr valve which has leaked onto the throttle flap and knacked that in, what would you think clean the egr and maybe replace seal, or do i have to buy a new one if its leaking oil???

I serviced my cr tdi with quantum oil from the vw dealers and I thought it was reasonable... £35 or £40 for 5l

I think the the oil was quantum 5w30 for long service cars

Is there a different oil for cr tdi ?

Hi Guys when I turn my steering say around a roundabout I can hear some sort of rumble noise??

Happens in both directions?

Power steering fluid seems fine though

I have thought the glow plugs needed changing as it cranks a few times in the morning before it starts but the vw specialist I use just told me not to bother until I got a warning light??? But never linked the glow plugs to the juddering at idle

Hi my 2008 passat always judders when its cold for a few minutes?? Popped the bonnet and i cant see what it is but as soon as you drive it for a couple of mins it stops?
