Guys.. Sorry I've not been on here much ...

I sold the B6 in January and replaced it with a 3.0 245 Quattro A5 black edition.

The Passat was and still is a great car but I fancied a coupe and had my eye on the A5 for a while.

I hope to be back on here soon when work calms down.

Car is coming along nicely as always.

I had melted looms and bought a brand new genuine motor so it soon adds up...

Just to note... Mine were from HID Direct... Not cheap.

Goggle ... Hid wiper motor... BEWARE!

It cost me nearly £500 to put right. ..

Worth noting that I was really surprised at the amount of tension required for those bolts when I changed mine.

Might be worth having them re torqued.

Also my car is fully Polly bushed and has 28mm ARB so It is going to be very different to drive than most B6 wagons. Yes it's firm but defiantly not c...

Shocks in good order give confidence in a straight line too.... Depends if you like to feel safe or not I suppose.

I had billies on my A3 that were way less comfortable than the Ap's on the B6 but loved the eibach pro springs ... Sure they were 50mm too... Wonder if they do them for the Passat What ever I do ... It will be all new because I didn't keep the OE. I'm thinking upgrade ARB and go back to stock... Inc...

Yeah I've looked at the pro kit but I'm skunnered that the £600 Ap's haven't lasted and not sure I want to invest again. I did the "if your going for coils spend the money" last time... I would prefer to have kit over coils but I really like the stance of my car... Maybe it's time to grow...

Thanks Seb! I was hoping for a slightly better review but thanks for your honesty. Not sure I can handle going back to crashy ride as the APs were great! Yeah... I'm disappointed with them mate.... They weren't cheap and have only done 14k. Maybe the back to standard option isn't such a bad one!.? ....
