Ya be after Xmas before I decide to have it done but ill keep trying to flush it throught ya Hurd u can use a air line to so iam ok on the tools do would you try do it itself then

Done it a few times now 6 or 7 got a little heat but not much so done everything new rad pump all me flap motors work everything so this be the last thing to do

like said haveing same problem so its grim the only thing i can think is heater core so big job that isklitoni wrote:From VCDS it doesnt show nothing so all flap motors are ok

I'd guess that you will find that its the temperature control flap motor - you can reach it under the centre console - just. I've replaced mine, it only took about 4 years of thinking about changing it and then some confidence from someone on this forum!

haveing same problems after a new rad water pump and climet control box and still no hot air and all me flap moters are working to so id like info on this too if any one got any idears

iv try everything here lads water pump coolant flush out loads this will be last one before i take it to the garage i have done the vw climatronic self-diagnostics test and its come back as 0318 error witch is air conditioner pressure switch 0x23 has any one have any ideas what this is and will it ...

Not sure but know that a few of them are visible once the centre console is removed.

can i change any of the flap motors easy or with out takeing out all the dash ??????? or iam i just going have face fact that me dash is going have to come out cry cry

The bottom hose is for cooled water returning from the radiator to the block . If the thermostat doesn't open then no water will flow through the radiator and the bottom hose will stay cold.
The flow of water through the heater core is not affected by the thermostat, water constantly flows through ...

Sorry lol both no heaters and the bottom hose is cold but I know the thermostat works tested before putting it in

Right this is still an on going problem with my heaters the top hose is getting hot but the thermostat hose is still cold I now have wait for it to open but takeing to long as any one got a trick like rapeing the fan up letting it get warmer or cardboard in front the rad ??? I know it's not the core ...

plasty dip spray paint id take it u have take the console out lighty rub it down and spray i know me mates done it to his audi a4 as that was wood color.

I would seriously recommend you pay that bit extra and have it professionally sprayed. I've had mine done!
There is lots to consider such as adding a flexi agent in the paint, otherwise your paint will crack and split! Also the plastics need smoothing with a fine filler, sanded back!
