Re: Injector Readings
Those injector readings are fine. I must admit I don't remember seeing 0.00 but as previously said they equal out nicely. Don't forget to check and log coolant and fuel sensor values. A dodgy cts can cause rough starts. Glow plugs, relay, fuse or even the loom but you do say it clears up after a wh...

I will check the CF tomorrow as laptop battery died. I am trying to find out if the timing belt has ever been changed. When it is fi...

Injector Readings
I have a 02 plate B5 and it has a smokey engine...it is white smoke and smells like diesel. I have done a scan with VCDS and these are the readings of the injectors on idle...are these correct? Thanks in advance for any help. http://i561.photobucket.com/albums/ss59/paul_m_album/PASSAT%20INJECTORS_1....

Re: Cuts out
I have not got round to checking what you said in other post..I have read it but not had chance to look on my car. 1 thing I have noticed is...if the car is stood a long time...like over night...I hear the pump prime and car runs with no problem ...no cutting out....if the car is stood for 10 mins.....

Cuts out
I have a 52 plate 1.9 TDi and it starts no problem...but after a few minuets driving it cuts out and then after turning over a few times it will start and run for rest of my journey with no problem.
It's like it runs out of diesel?
Is there anything I can look at to see what the problem is?

Re: Car cuts out
It was the relay (Relay 167 position 10)
I took the plug off the tank and there was no power but the relay was clicking...I then used a spare battery on the pump and it primed and the car would start and run....went and got a relay off a mate and everything is working again now

Re: Car cuts out
Can you hear the lift pump running? Injector harness will most of the time give you a misfire but not stop it starting Dave When you say lift pump ..you do mean the fuel pump in the tank?...I am going to get the back seat out tomorrow and check the voltage on the pump..I had never noticed it before...

Re: Car cuts out
I have just been out and tried to start it as it has been stood for about 4 hrs and it just cranks over now...not trying to start at all so it's not when anything is getting hot....I have been told it could be the injector harness...so I think I may try changing that

Car cuts out
I have a 2002 1.9TDi and it has started to cut out when slowing at junctions. It ticks over ok but when I drive it is ok at first then starts to chug a bit and the cuts out when slowing at a junction. It then takes about 90 seconds of turning the engine over for it to start again. It feels like fuel...

Where on a 2002 1.9TDi does the speedo get it's signal from.
Not the RPM ....the MPH reading.
Where is it's sensor located and does any one have a part number for it please?

Re: Fault Code 01336
I checked the carpets and none feel wet or even damp ? I have spoke to a mate who is a wizz with stuff like this and he thinks it may be a problem with the clocks or the drive unit in the gearbox for the speedo....I just been out in it again and the speedo is playing up again. I will have to wait ti...

Re: Airbag Fault
Well I checked the battery and it was the wrong one....it was a 52Ah and it should have been 70Ah from what I have read. I bought a new battery and the car turns over a lot faster...It had the old battery on since I bought the car and always started...but it did turn slow. I have only left the car o...

Re: Airbag Fault
That I don't know...I have had the car a year and it's same one....could that be the problem?
I don't mind buying a battery but car starts ok on a morning.
I was going to try starting it with a different one or jump leads on the weekend as I don't have the time on a week day
