Have you got power to the door? Could be a broken wire it door pillar,or more likely your lock module is playing up or failed.(as you probably know very common fault on passats)
Has it ever worked? Or just started playing up?

just wondering if anyone can help (again) lol
my near side rear door wont unlock off the central locking? could it just be a sticky/dead motor? as all the other doors are fine

vw use double sided sticky tape, get the wifes hair dyer out heat it up and use fishing line. Should come off no trouble but if you dont fish and havent got fishing line you can use dental floss but it might take slightly longer but it is do able and does work!

hi all ive got a b5.5 estate and it has chrome trim around the windows. i was wondering is it easy to take it off like is it just stuck on with glue or is ther asomething else?

tryed the red and yellow wires both ways mate if i leave them red to red/yelow to yellow it makes a thuding noise and when i put the wires red to yellow/yellow to red it makes a buzzing noise. never had it happen in any other car ive owned or fitted a stereo to

buzzing when key is removed
hi all ive just fitted a dvd player to my 2003 passat estate and when i remove the key the unit turns off as it should but the front panel lights stay on the unit and there is a buzzing noise coming from the speakers. anyone know why this could be? thanks in advance
