Sorry for the delay guys. Image attached now of the error i get when engaging reverse for the camera. Initially the reverse camera screen will pop up for a sec before this error pops up.

The camera still engages as normal and pops out and in as normal when in reverse.

Any ideas?

Will get a picture up shortly showing the error.

Unfortunately i dont have access to VCDS.

Anyone in Manchester willing to help scan my car if i drive over to you?

Very likely an injector fault.

Ring VW up and ask them for the date it had the injector recall, if within the last 2 years they will be covered under warranty and will be replaced by VW again if found to be faulty.

Hi rob, do you have a b6? What exactly were the symptoms that you were having? Mine never actually cuts out just judders under acceleration?

My injector wiring harness was only changed last year during the injector recall by VW?

Car has to be moving to get the vibration/judder.

Good used Bkp engine was fitted which had covered a genuine 67k. It's the newer type engine with improved oil pump etc

New genuine cambelt and water pump was also done for peace of mind on the engine before fitting.

I have spent easily a grand so far in the past month with no luck and considering the cars only worth 3.5k tops im now in that position where im going to lose out regardless.

Been trying to sort this problem out with my 2006 2.0 TDI BKP DSG Passat for the past 2-3 months now. Its been at a couple of different garages now for the past 5/6 weeks.

I have managed to get hold of another 6 Speed DSG gearbox, however is their any way it can be checked to see if it is ok before fitting?

Located in Manchester so dont mind paying someone to do it if possible?

Also after fitting, is any type of programming needed or will it all work ...

Pete just rang that number, as soon as i told him it was a DSG he told me they didnt do them.

Thanks Pete, will give them a ring in the morning, guessing their closed today.

DSG service was done at 40k, 80k and so its due it next 5k or so.

Still have this problem guys and it now does it every time i drive the car, as soon as the car warms up a little it will start doing it, before it was only on motorway journeys but now it will also do it during local driving.

Have been testing driving it in S rather than D and it is alot better ...

Just thought id update this, took the EGR valve off and gave it a good clean, engine light then went off itself after the first drive and has been off for the past week.

Following on from my other thread with the jerk/stutter i have, i have this morning had a full VCDS scan done which is below, only fault really was the EGR valve? Could this be related to the symptoms i have described in my other thread?
