I'm looking at a set of Merc wheels for my B5.5 saloon. they are 18" 5x112, 8 1/2J ET44. would these go straight on the Passat??

Sorry if its a stupid question but wanted to make sure they would fit.

Any input or additional info that would be needed would be appreciated :-)

Opened the car this morning, got in and as pulling out the drive noticed my passenger door was locked?? All the other doors are unlocked?? Tried opening it from the outside but nothing happens, tried handle on the inside and the pin comes up when i pull the handle and then goes back down ...

It really is a pain!! but yeah I will give this a shot at the weekend. Was it just at the universal joint you did this or was it all down the steering column??

Ive been down there a few times the passed few days but i couldnt see any signs of dripping. Should i have seen anything??
