Hmm, as thats what the existing lock does its not eorth getting then!
Prob goid if your lock didnt work at all

cheers! probably the cheapest option if there is an electronics fault! Maybe hide one of the keys under the car someplace!

After breaking a window today to gain entry to my car which I had stupidly left the keys inside without starting Id like to know if there is some Vagcom code to turn this feature off?

any links a pic? still not clear about which way to fit the cupped washer. And does it go between the plastic sleeve & the cv joint or does the plastic sit against the cv?

What is the correct way round? cup side in or out?

just replaced my outer cv boot but have found ( inside the old one!) a cup shaped washer same diameter as the driveshaft! Should I strip it all down again to fit this or is it not an essential part?

reckon one is seized as one side not working at all ( newish calipers)

Goodness me! nobody has ever had to do this on a B5?

Anyone point me to a "how to" for replacing my handbrake cables please?

Cheers, yes, Ive just found the boost hose that attaches to the intake manifold has a spilt!

Anyone have or could give me a part no, of the bracket that holds the a/c drier on? I found a lump of rusty metal today & traced it to this!

Hi, yeh, the height adjuster seems to ratchet ok & will lift the seat but when I sit on it , it moves down & then when I get out the car it moves back up! So yeh, Im guessing has something to do with this!

My 2005 TDI 130 drivers seat has started springing up whenever I get out of the car! Any ideas whats wrong?

in process of changing my top suspension arms on 2005 TDI130 & luckily for me some kind soul before has reversed the position of the bolts allowing me to change them without having to remove the complete suspension with spring etc as per normal! What I need to know tho, is how do I get the corre...

any tips on how to make the engine cover on a 2005 TDI fit a bit better & stop its constant rattle at idle? Ive replaced the rubber things twice but they dont seem to hold it tightly enough. Or is it best just to throw it away?
