bulb out causes abs light?
This sounds weird but yesterday I noticed I had a brake lamp out so I checked it & left the old one out until I got new. Next time I started car the abs check light was on. I thought I had a problem I would have to get fixed but after I fitted the new brake bulb the abs light has gone out ! Is t...

Re: electrical plugs?

electrical plugs?
is there some kind of special tool or knack to removing the many electrical connectors on VAG cars? ( such as the one that plugs into the MAF) I always end up having to chew up the plastic catch thingy as it never eases off. I love the ones Ford & co use which has a metal clip bit you simply squ...

Re: rear shock absorber question
Don't you mean the bump stops? The part that the shock absorber guard slips on to, I'd say the top mount is the part that the shock bolts onto, then in turn bolts to the chassis with two bolts. nope, I do mean the top mounting. Which as you say the bit that bolts to the body with 2 bolts & the ...

Re: looking for Phaeton discs 3D0615301N
It says 360mm but I don't think this is correct, they don't do a 360mm option for the phaeton. Parts base says they are 365mm. If the price is over £75 you get £10 off . So order them seperately and you would pay £138 for 2 discs http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/c/Volkswagen_Phaeton_6.0_2008/...

looking for Phaeton discs 3D0615301N
I need a set of front discs for a W12 Phaeton , part no 3D0615301N for front of my RS4. These Im told are half the price of Audi items just because they are not drilled! Any good ideas where I can buy? Any discounts available at TPS etc?
