Hmmm think I'm just going to turn it off when parking or reversing then haha

Mine does that while trying to park, mines auto though I've never had to touch the button, if you just blip the throttle while lifting the clutch it releases straight away, It's doing that going forward no problem but a few times when I am doing things like 3 point turns it slams the brakes on when...

Yeah it just doesn't move at all once it comes on haha so just end up turning it off.

I also want auto auto hold

Retro fitted auto hold to my B6 the other day. Is this suppose to switch off when reversing ? As a few times when I have reversed with auto hold switched on it just puts the brakes on .

No not a straight swap. Need to add one motor to the heater box as this is fully electric. Plus I need to have a look on the cog wheels used on opposite side of the box as control isn't 100% correct. Are those heater controls just a straight swap ? They look so much better than the old controls.

Are you keeping the original head unit? If you switch to a single din unit, it would be easier to find somewhere to fit it. Just a thought.
