Guys this is of great help many many thanks. Is there any upgrades to the rear beam as well? I will be fitting the Ta technecs coilovers soon and want to overhaul all the suspension bushes as the car has cover 110thou now and there is signs of wear.

Andy, I dont think matt could of put it better but trust me when I say that the 2e is a great engine when its running right, very reliable and quite frugal on long journeys it will pull very strongly its not going to be the G your use to and if I'm honest my heart will always favour the earlier pb b...

Car has passed its VIC test with no issues so all I have to do is tax it, yer! but I don't have a log book yet boo! Still no word on what cat write off it is??? Any ideas how I could find out?

Still continue to be awe struck by this car. With regard to photobucket, I hated the new one at first also but it is actually better... But what you need to do is open the photo(s) and then all the links appear on the right hand side which makes it quicker than the old version, once you have opened...

Thanks bud, As far as i'm aware the mats are the original dealer ones, I havent checked yet but you might still be able to get hold of dealer items. I bought some a while back for my mk2 golf and if i remember right they were about 25squids.
