Diagnostic has come back as throttle body.... Engine management light has been cleared (temporarily as it may be)... So... Too true... It may not be related.. Independent scan it is then.... But if egr related then... Massive coincidence that it's happened shortly after the emissions fix... Don't get me started on that topic. The wife's 1.6 Golf (also an EA189) stopped the other day with a dead EGR, and the indie garag...

The system has been pressure checked, regassed and confirmed free of leaks... So obviously not that simple..... Anyone have a positive opinion of a specialist in Bromley Kent /s e London... Cheers for the reply....In honesty I have no proof of that...service book doesn't mention it....also why I did cam belt water pump..tensioner.....a short while back...(slightly late at 5 years and 60,000 miles)....so quite happy to do dsg oil/filter change..and also brake fluid change soon......does...

Have to admit I'm thinking of taking some fine grade steel wool to my original tips ..just to brighten them up I don't want a high polished or chrome look ..just a slight lift to them ..think all the rolled in/slide over tips look small .. so would much prefer to keep original dimensions with this c...

I have probably used most if not all of the performance tyres from the leading BIG brands over the years. . .and even the Ultra h performance designs since that phrase started being used. . .truth is they've all been good . . using these on my b6 currently and have no complaints at all http://i1238....

Coming from a 6 speed manual Merc that I had from new ..I agree DSG is awesome .. bought my 08 highline 140 mid last year .. zero regrets so far ..incredible car ...I put on some 18"Scirocco rims which help to ease the cleaning ...glad you're loving yours too

not the most slammed b6 . . but for springs only . . .on standard shocks. . I'm very happy with the obvious but not ridiculous drop,visually. . .and ride quality? . . .its only over the worst sort of potholes that the firmer ride feels slightly harsh. . .completely happy with the more connected feel...
