I've got a few 'spare' ballasts as I have short arms and deep pockets, I tend to buy cheap, and end up buying twice

I fitted HIDs to my B3 and found that due to the headlights drawing a little bit of power when the sidelights were on it gave enough power for the HIDs to be on... so other than the fact its illegal, and if you don't use the correct reflector bulbs you'll blind everyone, you'll not have 'sidelights'...
